Police investigating the murder of Edinburgh man Martyn Barclay are carrying out forensic tests on a gun found close to where the killing to took place.

Dozens of officers have been searching the woodland in the Craigmillar area of the capital since last week. The gun was found in the grounds of  Craigmillar Castle and forensics experts are now carrying out tests to establish if the weapon was used to kill Mr Barclay.
