The girlfriend of a father shot in Edinburgh has appeared in court charged with his murder. Caroline Igoe, 31, denies shooting Martyn Barclay, 26, in the head in Hazelwood Grove, Edinburgh on 17 January this year. He later died. She was in the dock for a preliminary hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. Her brother Paul Igoe, 36, also denies a charge of murder and the pair are charged with firearm offences including possession of a handgun. They are finally charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice between 17 January and 7 June this year. Full story from BBC News |
