We are a Day Service which provides support to adults aged 65 and who have support needs relating to Dementia, Mental Health and Physical Disabilty. We exist to promote independence, connection to the local community as well as respite for families and carers.

More about Places for People Scotland

We provide quality care and support for people in Scotland. This includes housing with support, care at home, outreach and day services.

We offer support for:

  • people with learning and physical disabilities
  • people with mental health issues
  • young people
  • older people
  • acquired brain injury
  • autism
  • physical disabilities

Our staff are trained practitioners who help people to make informed choices about their personalised, flexible and quality care and support service.

We are a subsidiary of Castle Rock Edinvar and a member of the Places for People Group - one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK.

We're led by a senior management team based in Craigmillar in Edinburgh, supported locally by Castle Rock Edinvar and nationally by Places for People.

We're governed by an active, experienced voluntary board. Members have a range of experience including finance, property development, psychology, older people's strategy, homelessness and health.
