The Number shop offers free courses to help adults improve their everyday numbers and communication skills. Our courses are for everyone who wants to work on numeracy.  Anyone can attend the Drop-in Sessions or one of The Study Clubs.  Groups meet once a week, usually for two hours, during the day and in the evening. Most groups have between seven and nine students.

Other numeracy groups run from Monday to Thursdays.

With the help of Community Based Adult Learning you can:

  • work on things that you want to learn at your pace in a small group.
  • make sense of everyday numbers-help your children with homework and help with:
  • improve your job prospects
  • return to work with greater confidence
  • get back into study
  • study for basic SQA Numeracy Certificate
  • prepare for college
  • make new choices in your life
