SOUTH EDINBURGH BULLETIN 004 - 4 November 2009

Youth engagement seminar and young person’s video preview

Liberton Gilmerton Neighbourhood Partnership Youth Issues Group will be holding this seminar on Friday 13 November 2009 from 12.30 to 3.30 (sandwich lunch from 12.00 noon).

Potential Outcomes:

  • To reach a common understanding of what is meant by engaging young people and that of ‘Youth Participation’;
  • To identify achievable and meaningful methods in which to involve young people in the decision making process;
  • To form the basis of a Liberton Gilmerton ‘Youth Involvement Strategy’ which could be transferable to other areas.

This is a participatory event and many of the activities are lead by young people!

For more details and to book a place, please contact Scott Donkin, Partnership Development Officer, CEC Services for Communities on 0131 664 5000 or 0131 468 8141.
