Edinburgh Music Theatre Ltd present...A Chorus Line

4-8 March 2008

Now in its 25th year, Edinburgh Music Theatre is proud to be presenting the hit musical A Chorus Line.

Currently one of the hottest shows on Broadway, Tony and Pulitzer-winning A Chorus Line has met with huge success over the years – so much so that it was even made into a cult film starring Michael Douglas in the 1980s.

Inspired by a series of discussions with real chorus line dancers in New York, the show follows the fortunes of a group of Broadway hopefuls at an audition and gives us a glimpse into their all-consuming passion for dance and the desperation of their ambition.

The dancers’ fragile backgrounds, fears and dreams – at times touching and at times shocking – are revealed amidst an incredible score and stunning choreographies.

Featuring such songs as One; Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love; and The Music and the Mirror, A Chorus Line takes the audience on an emotional journey through the lives of a group of Broadway hopefuls.

Tickets are priced at £11 full price/£9 concession and there is an 'opening night offer' of all tickets £8. Time: evening performances 7:45pm, Saturday matinee 3:00pm

Tickets are available at Tickets Scotland (127 Rose Street, Edinburgh, 0870 220 1116 *booking charge applies) or at the theatre on the night.
