The Hermitage Golf Club will hold week-long children’s summer camps starting on Monday, July 9, as well as adult classes on Sunday afternoons 2pm-4pm where players of all levels are welcome.

The conditions at Saughton Enclosure for Fernieside Amateur’s last game of the campaign were horrendous, with gale force wind and rain preventing them and Edinburgh Rose from serving up a memorable game to close the season.

Gilmerton Community Centre has two very good quality bowling mats 45 inches x 6 feet plus a double mat handling unit (cost £2000.00 will accept £800 ono).

Fernieside Park is getting a new changing pavilion as part of the Council's plans to improve communial sports facilities in the city.  The existing building will be demolished when the new pavilion is complete.
