Arts South Edinburgh have co-ordinated an exiciting programme of performances and workshops during March. These are being provided as part of the national puppet animation festival outreach programme. Most of the events will be hosted by local schools, and there will be three public performances throughout the South area.

NUstart South Edinburgh Learn to Paint Starting 16th January 2008 Wednesdays 9.30 – 12 noon In Gilmerton Community Centre.  These free 6-week workshops are open to anyone who has ever wondered if they could paint and draw. South Edinburgh Community Learning & Development Partnership will be launching the Community Learning & Development Plan.  A number of local people will receive their Learner Awards.

Southside Community Centre will be running two drama classes this autumn starting September 22nd for 10 weeks.

Gilmerton Community Centre has two very good quality bowling mats 45 inches x 6 feet plus a double mat handling unit (cost £2000.00 will accept £800 ono).
