Gracemount Edinburgh Handball Club was founded a few years ago and we are developing the club to create chances for as many possible kids to start playing handball. We now have several youth teams including super minis, minis, juniors, and youths. Our mens team also competes in the Scottish Handball League, Scottish Cup and British Cup.

Handball is a growing sport in Britian and one of the largest indoor sports in Europe. Handball is at present being promoted in Great Britain to kids through a development programme and for the first time a British team will take part in the Olympics, at London 2012.One local player from Gracemount has already been selected for the Olympics training squad.

To develop our youth teams we grab every opportunity to better equip our players and the new Daily Record "kit for kids" action is a unique chance to get sport kits for our youngest players. Vouchers for the "free kit for kids" promotion will appear in the Daily Record and Daily Mirror from 23 February onwards, for ten weeks, daily.

We need thousands of vouchers and ask you to help us get our target number of vouchers. Club Training times are Primary children: Wednesday 5pm-6pm at Gracemount High School, Tuesday 6pm-7pm at Liberton High School; High School children: Tuesday 6pm-7.30pm at Liberton High School, Thursday 6pm-7.30pm at Gracemount High School; Adults Males: Tuesday 7.30pm-9pm at Liberton High School, Thursday 7.30pm-9pm at Gracemount High School.

We are looking for more females to join the sport so we can start a femlaes only session.
