Sport
Concern grew last month over the future of Inch Park, home to many local sports clubs.

The area, subject to flood prevention plans, is home to Lismore RFC, Edinburgh South FC, City of Edinburgh Athletic Club and South Edinburgh Cricket Club and hosts around 1,000 members in total.

Lismore rugby team have endured two years of a nomadic existence, seeking various venues around the city in order to fulfil their home games.

The club was formed in 1901 and have played at Inch Park since 1953, currently running four adult teams.

Meetings with the Council continue and The Echo will provide updates of the issue.
