Sixty local people recently attended Goodtrees Neighbourhood Centre's tree party, part of BBC Breathing Places tree party events held all over the country.

Children enjoyed stories about trees told by Mary and Gillian.  Bulbs were planted and there were lots of nature craft activities on offer, along with a leaf hunt challenge.

The BBC provided the tree - which is now 'planted' inside Goodtrees - as well as a tree activity pack and seed hunt bags.

Breathing Places, the BBC scheme, is an organisation devoted to encouraging the public to become more in touch with the environment.
