FMlogo75Tuesday 28th August, 2.30pm, in the Faith Mission at Gilmerton Road.

The South Edinburgh Partnership will also be launching its latest publication, "Making People Matter - A Key to the Teenage Years".

A number of other initiatives, including an educational board game which has ben devised by members of the Family Learning Team, will also be piloted on the day.  Local learners will be receiving their awards as part of the launch timetable.  A full programme of exhibitions, taster sessions, demonstrations, workshops and performances has been devised and will be presented on the day.

Both the event and the two publicatiions are exemplars of solid, creative and effective partnership working and the people involved are firmly of the belief that our good practice could be adapted and replicated elsewhere.

Copies of the two publications, ie the Community Learning and Developoment Plan and the Guide to the Teenage Years, will be available on the day.
