Autism Parent Support Afternoon

Posted by: Anonymous on May 22, 2008 - 05:08 PM
Health
Specials' first parent support session still has places available!

These sessions will give parents the opportunity to meet other parents & guardians and provide a chance for information and idea swapping. The main points of the session are to discuss various therapies such as 'SonRise,' and 'More Than Words' as well as discussing the services available,  and the services that are still required. This helps us to decide where the most help is needed.

A member of Special will be on hand to discuss the services and resources that are needed to further expand our presence and help. The event will take place on the 7th of June in the Apex City Hotel, Edinburgh from 12 - 3pm. A light lunch will be served at the start. Places are free and limited to 25. To book your place, please email info@specialscotland.org before the 30th May 2008 or call 0784 355 9572. Families who would like to share their experiences and those who have worked with families with autism are welcome to come and share their knowledge! Although places are free, any donations will be gratefully accepted. www.specialscotland.org
