Southside Community Centre will be running two drama classes this autumn starting September 22nd for 10 weeks.
SATURDAY DRAMA CLASSES FOR 7 - 13 YEAR OLDS SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITY CENTRE, 117 NICOLSON STREET EDINBURGH EH8 9ER Drama is great for improving confidence and self-esteem. It also helps in the development of important life-skills such as listening, group working, listening and all round communication. Most of all, it is great fun! The first class runs from 11.00 - 12.30 and is for those between the ages of 7 and 10 years. The second class runs from 12.45 - 2.15pm and is for 11 - 13 year olds. Classes will include drama games, movement and vocal work, improvisation, creative devising, scene study, character development and all round performance skills. At the end of the term both classes will present a short devised piece to family and friends. Term Dates: 22nd September - 1st December 2007* Times: 11.00 - 12.30am (7 - 10 year olds) 12.45 - 2.15pm (11 - 13 year olds) Cost: £30 for 10 week term payable in advance at the point of booking.
